Adrian Robert Ortega is a writer, director, producer & editor based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Adrian's first 2 short documentaries "Bodycrash: A Look Into Melbourne's Unique Club Scene" & "Modus Operandi: A Look Into Melbourne's Urban Exploring Scene" were met with critical acclaim and media attention from Junkee (inthemix.com channel), Vice (Thump channel), as well as being featured in articles by The Daily Mail U.K., Channel 10 News and have 80,000 combined views on Vimeo.
His third documentary short "They Call Me Spiderman" was part of the Official Selection at The St. Kilda Film Festival in 2016.
Adrian's debut feature film "Cerulean Blue" premiered to sold out crowds at the 68th Melbourne International Film Festival and went on to win the El Rey Award for Excellence in Film Directing at the Barcelona International Film Festival.
In 2017 he created his own independent production company Proud Wing Films to focus on bringing new stories and voices to Australian cinema.
